You have the ideas, but will they listen?
The way you use your voice can be the difference between being ignored or being taken seriously. I designed this workshop to help female professionals feel confident, and be convincing without having to be aggressive or adopting a “masculine” demeanour.
If you work in a male-dominated industry, these skills will be invaluable. Contact me now for information on upcoming workshops for women only, or to arrange a session for yourself, or your employees, friends, or team.
Command the respect your ideas deserve. Be convincing and assertive without having to be aggressive. Create resonance and power in your voice, learn how to speak loud and strong without having to force your voice, shout, or use a coarse and uncomfortable sound. Avoid losing your voice in a long day of meetings and presentations.
If you have big dreams and a passion for your industry, I’m right there with you!
As a small business owner myself, I understand the importance of setting up a dynamic brand that people will love, offering stellar customer service, and setting yourself apart from the crowd.

Q. Is this public speaking training?
A. While I include many helpful public speaking tips in my workshops, the primary focus is on the voice itself. Many of us already know we need to make eye contact, relax (easier said than done!) and make a joke or two; but how many people know how to make their voice naturally deeper, project the voice into a large room, or what causes vocal fatigue and how to avoid it?
My techniques help you to avoid vocal constriction, tiredness or hoarseness after a day of speaking, and improve the power, resonance, confidence, strength, and convincing quality of your voice. I will also help with breathing, relaxation, and other relevant methods which assist with public speaking, as well as your day-to-day voice usage in work and social situations.
Q. Are you a speech therapist?
A. No. Speech therapists, aka speech pathologists, work with serious speech-related pathology (illness or dysfunction). What I do is take healthy voices, and simply make them better.
However, I do work in close contact with qualified speech pathologists and ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat) doctors, and always refer my clients to these qualified medical specialists if there is any hint of serious vocal issues. If you are concerned about your voice or your speech, but are not sure who to go to, you can book in for an initial session with me to assess your voice, and if necessary I can refer you to a local trusted speech pathologist or ENT.
